A River of Judgement & a Saviour of Grace

Exodus 7 marks the beginning of the 10 Plagues, God’s judgement against Pharoah and Egypt, which had held God’s people in harsh slavery for hundreds of years. The plagues show us the wholeness not only of God’s judgement against Pharaoh and Egypt but also of God’s hatred of all injustice, including injustices committed today. While in Exodus and through the first plague, God’s judgement flows through a river turned to blood. In Jesus, God’s grace flows through the blood of his son.
